Sugar & Spice

The ‘Spice’ added to the venue known for a long time as ‘Sugar’ reflects a change in character too. Located in a short cul-de-sac alley right beside SALT Beyoğlu, this used to be the favourite café stop, a refuge from the street parade for gay strutters. But now it has become more of the same, another area bar with exorbitant prices. Nothing wrong with that – except that some customers have recently complained online about unfair two-tier prices for non-Turks.
