With its spacious venue, breezy terrace for the summer months, tasty and extensive menu, Angel has been operating in Baltalimanı since 2007. Having opened its first branch in Üsküdar Salacak in 1991, Angel also has a Tuzla branch.
Their menu is considerably diverse. It’s difficult to choose from a list of 35-40 mezzes, though prawn meatballs, prawns with soya sauce and silverbeet, and fish ‘beğendi’ (with creamy aubergine) are among the favourites..fish cutlets, braised fish, fish meatballs (surrounded by cracked wheat), seafood trio, prawns wrapped in silverbeet, and fish simit with sesame seeds are also tasty options. Fried fish intestines and fish bresaola are more unusual options for anyone after something different.
