Time Out says
Armada Teras, with its nostalgic atmosphere and the view of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Marmara Sea, is a fine alternative for summer days. The roof is made transparent for guests to enjoy the view during the winter as well and call it ‘Armada Sera’ (‘Sera’ for ‘Greenhouse’). Armada Teras, located right in the middle of the historical peninsula, offers fine-dining style dishes from Turkish Cuisine.
Highlights from the menu are Hünkar Beğendi (lamb stew served on mashed aubergine), tenderloin marinated with wild herbs, grilled lamb with rosemary sauce, lamb shank with aubergine and ‘Hünkar Sahanı’(served in a copper pot for two). The special here is ‘Sahanaki’ served in a clay pot in the middle of the table. As for the warn appetizers, we have selected chickpeas with tripe,’ sigara böreği’(rolled pastry )with spinach, and ‘kokoreç’(seasoned, skewered lamb’s intestines) cooked in paper. The place is widely popular among for those with foreign guests and international finance and business people.
