Armada Teras, with its nostalgic atmosphere and the view of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Marmara Sea, is a fine alternative for summer days. Highlights from the menu are Hünkar Beğendi (lamb stew served on mashed aubergine), tenderloin marinated with wild herbs, grilled lamb with rosemary sauce, lamb shank with aubergine and ‘Hünkar Sahanı’(served in a copper pot for two). The special here is ‘Sahanaki’ served in a clay pot in the middle of the table. As for the warn appetizers, we have selected chickpeas with tripe,’ sigara böreği’(rolled pastry )with spinach, and ‘kokoreç’(seasoned, skewered lamb’s intestines) cooked in paper.
