Our favourite mezzes off Blue Topaz’s menu are the arugula salad with warm amano shrimp, mashed broad beans, seabass with ginger, and mussel stuffed cabbage leaves. Among the entrees we picked the chicory with meat, baby lobster with cumin, “fried sans smelt”, and for the main course, baked grouper, fried mullet, angler skewers, “lobster bavetta”, and shrimp risotto. For those who’d prefer to eat meat there’s steak in coffee sauce and chicken with artichokes have been added to the menu. Of the desserts they recommend the panna cotta with mastic gum and the orange chocolate cream. Blue Topaz, with its diverse menu, stylish décor and unparalleled Bosphorus view, is a good choice for summer nights.
