Atiye Sokak is undoubtedly the heart of the eating and drinking industry in Nisantası. Unwilling to give up his prime location, ex-partner of the street’s Italian establishment, Elio, decided to revamp the interior, menu and concept of the eatery to transform it into Blush Atiye.

Although the checkered tablecloths and dishes like beef carpaccio, minestrone soup, fresh pasta, risotto and pizza varieties might have you feeling like you’re in an Italian restaurant, the menu takes on more of an international flair with hamburgers, quesadilla, begˆendili köfte (spicy meatballs with creamy eggplant puree), steak with mushroom sauce, Thai noodle and sea bass wrapped in Swiss chard. Yet the restaurant management also serves more ambitious dishes like abudaraho, or fish roe served on crispy buttered bread, as well as Osso Buco, or beef shanks served on lemon-saffron risotto (which “no one does better,” they claim).
