Cuento Restaurant is discreetly located away from the noise and chaos of Bağdat Caddesi and welcomes its customers to chic ambiance. Owners Sahil Barlas Koçak and Ufuk Koçak show off their skills in Cuento Restaurant. Take just one look inside Cuento and you’ll notice the owners’ feminine touch everywhere – from the small tables and chairs in front of the kitchen on the ground floor to the top floor, perfect for afternoon meze-and-drink dates. You’ll even find a small souvenir shop.
The menu at Cuento is well thought out, catering to everyone from dieters and vegetarians to bistro fans, fresh pasta-seekers and Turkish cuisine addicts. If you’re indecisive, opt for the daily soup, meal and olive-oil dish combo for either lunch or dinner. Some headliners from the menu include crispy pizzas, salmon köfte (patties), cheese fondue, Çorum mantı (Turkish ravioli) and pasta, made fresh each morning. The chickpea, wheat and potato salads are also worth a try. For breakfast, your best bet is the omelettes, served with homemade bread. Cuento also delivers food right to your home by special order.
