Originally in charge of supplying meat to Istanbul’s most popular restaurants for the last twenty years, Etçii is open for retail in Tuzla with its ‘steak house’ concept. Beef New York steak, lamb back strap, beef bacon, lamb fillets, lamb cutlets, flank steak, T-bone, tenderloins dozens of choices that you can buy kilos of to take home and cook,or have cooked there for your enjoyment. The meat isn’t marinated in order to preserve ther original flavours, only sprinkled with sea salt and cooked for eight minutes. As well as meat, gourmet products including special sauces, olive oil dishes, pickles and olives are also available for purchase. Despite being far from the city centre, it’s worth the trip for Istanbul’s biggest steak house and their delicious meats.
