There’s movement on Reşitpaşa’s Doğanevler Caddesi. Bread-lover Sandy Abut's Reşitpaşa venue Naan Ovens & Breakfast has been followed up by a boutique butcher in the same neighbourhood. Karkas Kasap (butcher shop) cooks the merguez sausages that they produce in the little store opposite it. Their 20-person picnic-style table is never empty. Karkas Et is run by the long-time manager of Günaydın Kasap, Önder Şahin. As far as the venue goes, it’s clear that Naan’s influence is prevalent: Karkas actually has its bread supplied by Naan.
