One of the first things you’ll notice upon entering Asmalımescit, with its red awning, French music and white tablecloth covered tables, La Brise is a typical French brasserie. Operated by Teoman Hünal and his family, the kitchen is run by London-educated Esen Hünal.
The diverse menu offers such selections as steak tartare, oysters in wine-sauce, duck confit, and Chateaubriand. Desserts include mille feuille, crème brûlée, and lemon tart with meringue.
La Brise’s summer venue at Sortie is furnished with wooden tables, white tablecloths and colourful lampshades. It’s open every day from 18.00-00.00 during summer and has a capacity of 55 people. While the menu is the same as that in Asmalımesci, the pear margarita is especially recommended.
