Lokal’s chefs are Thai but that doesn’t limit their variety. The menu features, among others, Indian chicken tikka, Thailand’s pad thai and chicken coconut curry, Vietnamese beef pho, Japanese salmon teriyaki, Mexican Cajun and Lebanese falafel. When it comes to desserts, panna cotta is a common preference. Turkish and Italian wines are served while house, ambient, lounge and electronica music play in the background in what is certainly one of the city’s most preferred bohemian venues.
