Time Out says

Fenerbahçe’s new cozy breakfast place A place outside the city and the hustle and the bustle where one can relax exists and is within reach: Lutfiye, the site of the Fenerbahçe neighborhood’s old Komşu Fırın. The café’s bare rock walls, huge vitrines and relaxed music lure you in from the outside. Upon entering, time slows down. It feels more like a therapy room than a cafe.

A new site in Fenerbahçe, Lutfiye’s history is actually a lot older than the current establishment. Lutfiye was originally founded in Amasra in the 1930s and has ever since served its own famous brand of jams, molasses, sweets and sherbets. Their specialty is natural quality and not adding any extra additives. After opening their first place in Istanbul in 2009, they have now opened their second. ‘Good foods’ is the simple slogan which they have stayed true to for four family generations.

Whatever the weather, the place recalls a summer home garden serving two types of cheese, eggs, pastırma, olives, tomato, salad, pepper, nuts, butter and its own marmalade, peanut butter and jams for a traditional Turkish breakfast worth trying and served every morning until 13.00.

Don’t think that just because the seasons are changing that it’s not worth going anymore. The inner area’s stone walls recall a traditional old coffee shop where you can cozy up with a warm Australian-style sherbet coffee. Lutfiye’s talent is not only breakfast, the menu also includes toast, pasta and cake. The breakfast is 20TL, cakes and sweets are around 13TL, pasta and mushrooms are 17 TL and sherbets are 7,50 TL.
