Malta Köşkü, located inside Yıldız Parkı- has an outstanding view with reasonable prices. It is managed by Beltur (a management owned of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) therefore there is no alcohol service. In stead you will come across many families with kids. There is a café downstairs overlooking the yard and upstairs there is the restaurant. The venue expands to the garden according to weather conditions. On the weekends, between 09.00 and 13.00 breakfast buffet is available followed by a complete buffet from 14.00 to 22.00. Other days you can order a la carte style.
Chicken roll with thyme, seabass with fennel seasoning, tenderloin with marsala sauce and Palace roll is the specials in the menu. If you are going to Malta Köşkü on feet, use the entrance across the Balmumcu Kışla (military quarters). Other wise, you will face up with a long hill to climb. Malta Köşkü also hosts special nights like weddings and engagement parties. The last hour to enter the venue is 22.00 but dinner guests can leave until 23.00. The venue accepts no reservations on Sundays.
