Historically Tekirdağ meatballs aren’t much different than İnegöl meatballs. It is believed that migrants from Thessaloniki brought Tekirdağ meatballs to the region in the 1920’s. The secret to Tekirdağ meatballs is the fact that it uses beef ribs in the meat and it is always served with red pepper paste.
