Pandeli-serving since 1901- is an Istanbul classic where Queen Elizabeth and Gorbaçov have dined. You can pay a visit to the restaurant when you want to take a breath of old Istanbul and have a delish meal. Everything in the menu-comprising of almost-forgotten Turkish dishes- is appetizing. We especially recommend the seabass cooked in paper and shrimp cocktail; and from the desserts, almond cookie, yellow ‘burma’, ‘güllaç’ (rice wafers stuffed with nuts, cooked in milk and served with rose water) and ‘kazandibi’(milk pudding with caramel base). The restaurant does not serve dinner but alcohol serving is available.
