There are many restaurants in the city that make their own pasta, burger buns and sauces, and just about all of them are proud to announce this fact – yet we honestly don’t know of any other eatery that places as much emphasis on it as Ragione does. Nothing enters the kitchen except for a few basic ingredients, and even the sodas are made in-house. As many burger fans got the chance to experience at the recent Hellmann’s Burger Fest, Ragione gives its neighbor Baltazar a run for its money – in fact, we gleaned from social media that the restaurant may well be a threat to Baltazar’s role as the burger supplier of Karaköy. The burgers come with perfectly textured, large and juicy beef patties. It’s nearly impossible that you’ll be left hungry, but just to be on the safe side, Ragione serves a hefty portion of seasoned fries with each order. Those in the mood for something other than burgers can try Ragione’s classic lasagna, which is made with fresh dough and unrivaled in its neighborhood in terms of the price/performance ratio. Ragione is worth a visit, even if it’s for the crème brûlée with menengiç coffee alone.
