Rigel Restaurant, that gets its name from the Rigel star that lets ships and planes direct their route over the Atlantic Ocean, has a history that dates back 215 years. The menu includes flavours like stuffed sea bass, fish beğendi (served with eggplant puree), fish Adana, fish mantı (Turkish ravioli), grilled calamari, fish dürüm (wrap), fish kokoreç (seasoned and skewered) and grilled octopus. It’s worth travelling to Çengelköy just to experience these flavours in a historic stone building right by the Bosphorus.
