Şans Restaurant serves the best of Turkish and Mediterranean Cuisine since 1992 in 1.Levent. The restaurant is a member of ‘Chaine des Rotisseurs’ and won the award for “Best Business Dinner” in 2006 Time Out / Miller Food & Drink Awards. Şans Restaurant is filled with business men and women coming from the offices in the neighborhood during the lunch hours. But it is almost impossible to leave the peaceful garden to go back to office after the lunch. Besides the delicious offerings from the menu, there also exists a wide menu of wines to choose from. The bar upstairs is ideal for after-work happy hours and a drink before or after dinner. During the summer, the bar in the garden is used. Upstairs is independent from the downstairs therefore you can reserve the entire floor for special occasions.
The menu is renewed every two months by Chef Ali Ekber Sarıgül but the classics like lamb chunk served with grilled vegetables, veal cheek, stuffed chard leaves, spinach roots and fish soup that get big demand from the regulars are kept in the menu. Other highlights in Şans’s menu are the daily fresh fish, lemon risotto, tuna fish cooked medium rare in hot pan. For vegeterians and dieters,the menu also offers gluten-free tagliatelle, veggie pastas and dishes, olive oil dishes and salads. There are wine options from France, Chile, Italy, Argentina and Turkey in the wine cellar downstairs. Their breakfast meeting service is also very popular among corporate organizations.
