Time Out says

Given all the hoopla surrounding The Bite, even before it opened, it already seems like old news. For those who may not have heard, The Bite was actually media personality Ivana Sert’s boutique, originally transformed into a small café with the addition of a few tables. Following several months of debate, the venue took on its current form.

Situated right on the corner of Atiye Sokak and Teşvikiye Caddesi, The Bite bears a simple, mostly timber décor complemented by marble tables and dim lighting, all courtesy of interior designer Gökhan Sarıtürk. The menu is mostly centred on tapas, our picks being the breaded and fried Camembert (18 TL) and the honey-caramelised rosemary with almonds (22 TL). The venue’s longevity is still to be seen, but given its extensive bar offerings, it’s almost certain to be around for a while.
