Opened in 1998 by four cousins from Adana, Tike spread to the entire city after their first branch opened in Levent. Its next venue was on the Bostancı shoreline. Following this, they opened the Güneşli, Nişantaşı, Kemerburgaz, Florya, Ataşehir, Zekeriyaköy, and Bahçeşehir branches. Currently only the Levent branch offers a home delivery service. Tike also has branches in Ankara, İzmir, Athens, Bodrum, Bursa, Yalova, Kiev and Jeddah. For a heavenly meal, try any one of the following: lahmacun (Turkish pizza) and pide cooked in a stone oven, beyti or aubergine kebab. For those who prefer white meat, the chicken beyti or chicken cutlets are also fine choices. But be sure to end the feast with warm ‘irmik helvası’ (made from semolina) with cheese and icecream.
