What separates Udonya from many other Japanese restaurants in the city is that they serve a lot of Japanese dishes outside of the standard sushi. Traditional Japanese dishes that are similar to Turkish mezzes, the Japanese pub menu ‘İzakaya’, Tempura, Teriyaki, and Tofu Salad varieties are all perfect for sampliny different tastes. The tasty Japanese noodle ‘Udon’, served almost in soup form with a variety of Japanese ingredients, and the origin of the restaurant’s name and their specialty, is also a good choice for main course. The sushi menu is full of classics as opposed to originals. Udonya also has a little Japanese garden. The prices are reasonable for a Japanese restaurant; the economic set menu prepared for lunch is a reason to love Udonya in itself.
