Time Out says

The decoration, for one, is incredible, blending black with cream and grey, right from the get-go. Sema Topaloğlu (the interior designer on Wallpaper* magazine’s Watch list) is responsible for the décor, where provocative, striking shapes and forms surround you. A fan of nature, Topaloğlu created a brand new living quarter, with details that were inspired by nature. Wine bottles are lined in the form of tree branches inside giant egg-shaped cabins. The venue houses an assortment of tables and lighting in various colours. It is divided into three sections- lounge, restaurant, terraceand it also boasts two spacious bars. If you’re one of those people who likes enjoying breakfast outside, then add Ve... to your list. The open buffet breakfast is served from 10.00- 13.00 on the weekends and features croissants and a rich selection of breads, pancakes, omelettes and many other favourites. You can also order breakfast dishes from 10.00-12.30 during the week. The menu features the musthave dishes of Turkish and Asian cuisines as well as world fare, with an emphasis on Italian cuisine. The menu struck us with its presentation. The menu features soups, noodles, burgers, panini sandwiches, pizzas, osso bucco (30 TL), T-bone steak, various oven-baked or grilled red meat options, chicken, seafood, pasta and salads. There are a wide variety of starters, from olive-oil dishes and cheese plates to carpaccio and their crispy seafood köfte. Our favourite is the asparagus bouquet wrapped in veal bresaola served with arugula and Parmesan. We also recommend the nacho plate with creamy spinach and artichoke dip. The menu features many Ve... specialties for you to choose from. We especially recommend the Ve... Pizza (22 TL), topped with minced steak, chestnut mushrooms, green peppers, fresh thyme, mozzarella and tomato sauce. To complement your meal, select one of the Turkish, Italian, French, South African or Chilean wines from Ve...’s specially designed wine cellar. Besides Turkish wines, you can also order Fine Tawny (Porto wine), Donini Bardolino and Donini Chardonnay by the glass. Don’t get overwhelmed and decide to pass on your post-meal dessert. The Affogato al Caffe (10 TL) - hot espresso over vanilla ice cream - is our favourite, and the hot chocolate soufflé served in a cezve (long-handled pot used to cook Turkish coffee) is worth a try due both to its presentation and its taste. Tiramisu fans are in for a new experience, as this dessert is presented in a jar at Ve... In addition to classical cocktails and drink specialties, you’re sure to get hooked on the Ve...Cocktail (22 TL), prepared with Bailey’s, cognac, vanilla ice cream, mascarpone cheese, hazelnuts, chocolate sauce and espresso. If you ask us, Ve... is one of the eateries in the city that offer a delightful experience in terms of atmosphere, flavour and presentation. Give Ve... a chance.
