The international Japanese restaurant chain opened its first branch in the city back in 2008, with an incredible view overlooking the Bosphorus in Ortaköy. Yet Becker believes the restaurant’s primary aim should be to offer a comfortable dining experience – as was the case with the original Zuma in London, which managed to rival luxury restaurants through its décor, food and izakaya-style service. The spacious new Zuma at İstinyePark boasts a simple and inviting décor that incorporates granite, steel, glass and hardwood. Becker says this location is ideal for those who want to take a break from shopping, whether for a full sushi meal or a drink at the bar.
