Blue Matters

When it comes to denim wear, Blue Matters is the local brand to watch. The brand’s cofounder Ece Müftüoğlu Narcy has been involved with denim pretty much since birth, as her family is involved in the denim production and export business. She recently teamed up business partner Didem Çakar to expand on her family’s expertise with the Blue Matters brand. Narcy herself designs the women’s collection, while Berlin-based DJ Kabus Kerim (whom you probably know from his Anatolian psychedelic rock mixes) designs the men’s collection. For those who wish to remain stylish even in the sweltering heat, the latest Blue Matters collection offers plenty of lightweight, raw denim jackets, summer dresses, shirts and of course pants.
