Named after the beloved leftist poet, Nazım Hikmet Cultural Centre is a haven for left-leaning thought and art, hosting concerts, film screenings, plays and workshops in keeping with Nazım Hikmet's "romantic communist" legacy. The Centre also has a library, a bookstore and a café, which is a great place to have breakfast in the summer as the canopy provides a cool setting even during the warmest months.
