Marcel Dettmann
One of modern techno’s most influential figures, DJ and producer Marcel Dettmann, is set to take the stage at Zorlu PSM to meet electronic music lovers. Closely associated with Berlin’s iconic institutions Berghain and Hard Wax, Dettmann began his musical journey in a small town in East Germany. Inspired by bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure and Front 242, he continues to expand the boundaries of techno today through his labels MDR and Bad Manners, while also creating space for emerging talents. With albums released under the Ostgut Ton imprint, countless singles and remixes, Dettmann has left a profound mark on the electronic music scene, showcasing his versatility through collaborations with Junior Boys, Fever Ray and Moderat. Beyond the club stage, his projects for the Berlin State Ballet and his sound design work within the contemporary art world have further cemented his reputation. The night will kick off with a performance by Ece Özel, followed by Dettmann, who will take over the decks from 1:00 AM.
