Beyond Rosebank: Pantry by Marble Pop Up lands at The Marc

The Marble Hospitality Group is bringing its premium convenience game to the heart of Sandton’s business district with a new pop-up, and this time, the oven is coming with it.

Pantry by Marble is planting its flag at The Marc in Sandton, running from 7 April until the end of September 2026.

What’s cooking at The Marc?

Unlike the recent Mall of Africa activation, which focused primarily on chilled grab-and-go items, the Sandton pop-up is bringing more to the table. Thanks to its proximity to its sister restaurant Saint, the pop-up will serve Pantry’s famous freshly made pizzas alongside the usual suspects:

• Artisan breads and pastries: Crafted by award-winning pastry chef Megin Meikle.
• The classics: Signature sandwiches, salads, and premium pantry staples.
• Fuel: A dedicated high-end coffee station for the 7 am corporate rush.

"With this pop-up, we’ll be serving some of Pantry’s most popular pizzas prepared using the brand’s signature quality ingredients," says Operations Director Dino Constantinou. "It’s about adding another layer of convenience while bringing our brands together."

The Pantry empire is expanding

The Marc isn’t the only place where the Marble Group is making moves. 2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for the "fancy but easy" franchise:

• Bassonia (The New South): In January 2026, Pantry officially opened its third permanent store at the Omni Square Shopping Centre in Bassonia, bringing its luxury-hybrid model to the south of Joburg.
• Mall of Africa (From pop-up to permanent): Following the massive success of its pop-up in Midrand, the group has confirmed it will open a full-scale, standalone store at Mall of Africa later this year, featuring a full restaurant experience.
• The View: Opening in September 2026 at Fourways’ newest addition to the shopping world, this won’t just be a grocery store; it’s a full "gourmet experience" featuring a bespoke bakery, butchery, wine cellar, and ice cream parlour.
• The Olympus/Marble Hotel: For those who want the Marble lifestyle 24/7, the group also confirmed its foray into the hotel industry last year with a 5-star luxury hotel at the Olympus development in Sandton, expected to integrate with the existing flagship Marble restaurant and ground-floor Pantry.
