With winter comes the promise of cold nights and warm theatres, and what better way to thaw a chill than with some stunning performances from Opera North?

Their winter season offers two firm favourites and a something you may not have heard before.


La Vida Breve & Gianni Schicchi
A chance to see two short operas, including an opportunity to see Puccini's rarely performed 'Gianni Schcci'.

The Marriage of Figaro
Opera North’s new production of Mozart’s ever-popular opera is directed by Jo Davies (‘Ruddigore’ and ‘Carousel’) and sung in English. It's directed by Jo Davies who recently helmed both 'Ruddigore' and 'Carousel' for the company.

La Traviata
The company presents its moving and stylish new production of Verdi’s tragic tale of ill-fated love and family tensions, set in Paris during the beautiful era, 'la belle époque'.

Opera North's new season will be performed at Leeds Grand from Sat Jan 24 - Sat Feb 28. Tickets are on sale at the official website.
