2013 City of Los Angeles Individual Artist Fellowships Visual Arts Exhibition

Catch the work of some of LA's most exemplary mid-career artists at this eclectic exhibition. Each year the Department of Cultural Affairs awards selected artisans with $10,000 to use on their creations. Check out the resulting diverse works of art—from photographs to paintings to performance art—by the stylistically different winners and see how they reflect the city's artistic identity at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. If you like what you see, get up close and personal with the creators at two "Conversations with the Artists" sessions (June 1 2pm; June 21 7pm) where you can engage directly with the artists and curators. Or bring the kids for a family-friendly art workshop on June 22 from 1-4pm.
