Art & Music Series: International Contemporary Ensemble

If you've been to LACMA recently and have already seen its popular Stanley Kubrick and the more recent Hans Richter: Encounters, experience them in a whole new way at this special event—a blend of art, music and film. The International Contemporary Ensemble—formed to reshape the creation and experience of music—will celebrate the exhibitions by performing live music by John Cage, György Ligeti and more alongside clips of the two featured filmmakers' works. The adventurous group will end the night playing along with its own film adaptation of Peter Maxwell Davies' Eight Songs for a Mad King.
