You've tortured delighted your friends with endless footage of road trips, baby's first steps, and the family pet eating peanut butter; now's your chance to show your old home movies to strangers. Cinefamily hosts the nationwide, 10th anniversary Home Movie Day where wannabe filmmakers (re: you) can screen anything that hasn't been shot with digital (i.e., 8mm, Super-8, 9.5mm, 16mm and VHS) to show some appreciation for good 'ol film. The free event kicks off with a finger-food potluck and film drop-off at 11am, followed by screenings from noon to 4pm. Just try not to show that clip of yourself singing Madonna in your underpants, lest your night end in humiliation.
