Hans Richter: Everything Turns—Everything Revolves

Groundbreaking multi-hyphenate artist Hans Richter was a provocative painter, printmaker, filmmaker and teacher. Get a look at the man behind the art at this West Coast premiere of director David Davidson's film about Richter's contributions to the modernism and expressionism art movements. Davidson will stay for a Q&A after the documentary. The screenings free, but tickets—available at the LACMA Ticket Office one hour before the screening—are needed to get in. Then head over to the museum and check out the corresponding new Richter exhibition opening the same day, which focuses on the artist's roles as an innovator, collaborator and socially important figure.
