Time Out says

The Devil comes in the form of a rich metropolitan tech entrepreneur (Lance Gross) who drives a red convertible, jogs shirtless and proclaims that real men have sex “like animals” in Tyler Perry’s insane, inane Old Testament–style morality tale. Our villain corrupts an innocent married therapist (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) who abandons her good husband and religious mother, with Perry’s film positing cheaters as not just deplorable, but—no-joke spoiler alert—that they deserve to be punished with AIDS. That sort of fire-and-brimstone morality dominates this one-note sermon, which pairs its pedantic preaching with the campiness of Vanessa Williams speaking in an absurd French accent and Kim Kardashian as the protagonist’s bitchy fashionista coworker, vainly trying to act.
