Brunch buffets are as elaborate as they come at Post & Beam, awash with contemporary American fare from deviled eggs with grilled shrimp to country style grits. If that doesn't warm your soul, a bite of mom's apple pie might jog back memories. At Willie Jane, there's an addendum to chef Armstrong's regular brunch menu: smoked salmon slivers atop potato and chive waffles ($14)—and whipped crème fraiche to bridge the earth-and-sea union.
