The Landmark Theater

The content on this page is provided by a Time Out partner.

This swanky theater has twelve auditoriums, top-notch digital projection and sound and over 3,000 parking spaces for you and all your friends... and all their friends. The Landmark also boasts the best theater food in the city. There's a full service wine bar—which, in addition to red, white and bubbly, has a pretty great beer list—offering happy hour discounts and cappuccinos. It also has a tasty and super reasonably-priced menu with fancy eats (like a prosciutto and provolone sandwich and an artisan cheese plate) alongside more traditional theater favorites like the hallowed Hebrew National hot dog (served on a bun from La Brea Bakery). You can rent the entire theater for special events, or get cozy in the venue's luxury screening room.

I used to live down the street from this theater, so I came here often. It is often packed, but its still a great spot to watch a movie. There is a swanky bar attached to the complex so if you get there too early, I highly recommend grabbing a seat and ordering a drink. They also do special screenings sometimes, so always be on the lookout for that!

A theater that knows the meaning of customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for people who care about their moviegoing experience.  The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the seats are incredibly comfortable, and the theater is slanted in a way that you don't have to worry about peaking over the head of the person in front of you. The people that frequent this place are true movie lovers, so you won't ever deal with inconsiderate people texting or kicking your chair.
