Über-chipper electro-dance-popsters from Utah return with album number three, Pop Psychology. After working with Beck bassist and M83 producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen, the Killers-meet-Lauper act goes for pure radio gloss and EDM machine sheen on its newest single, "Sleeping with a Friend." It's the band you want to scoff at, but can't quite do it because every song is just so damn upbeat and catchy. Smallpools and Nightmare & the Cat will open this Wiltern show.
