Rock My Soul: Celebrating Black Women Artists in Collaboration and Community

In the early 20th century, composers Florence Price and Margaret Bonds struck up a friendship that helped each to support the other to break barriers in the classical music world. Today, the LA Phil is channeling that same spirit with this celebration of past and present Black women artists. Soprano Julia Bullock curates this fall series that features performances from Chaka Khan, Rhiannon Giddens and Meshell Ndegeocello, among others.
