Check out Malian singer songwriter Rokia Traoré who hits Los Angeles for the first time on her new album tour, Beautiful Africa. Most of the songs are in Bambara and French, although you’ll hear some lines of English if you listen carefully. Don’t worry if you can’t understand the words, the African rhythms and the smoky soft timbre of her voice will get you nodding along to the beat.
