Not all opera ends with a fat lady dying. Celebrate Verdi’s 200th birthday at the LA Opera with a performance of Falstaff, a comic masterpiece in three acts. Adapted from scenes of various Shakespeare plays, the opera chronicles the bawdy misadventures of Falstaff as he tries to seduce two married women (That always turns out well, right?). The opera will be sung in Italian with projected English subtitles. Snag a nosebleed balcony seat for as cheap as $18.
