Seasonal & Delicious.

With Paul Martin's American Grill, Brian Bennett and restaurateur Paul Fleming have realized a long-nurtured dream to create the restaurant "we've always wished was in our neighborhood."

At the heart of all great food is fresh, local, peak of the season ingredients. Paul Martin's aims to serve diners the best ingredients with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced produce, the best of both wild and farmed fish, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors. The deep California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State's vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. Behind Paul Martin's elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin's American Grill.

We didn't have high expectations, but the food was excellent. All the items we ordered were well seasoned and very flavorful using high-quality ingredients like grass fed beef for the steaks. Located in a nondescript office complex, this restaurant is a hidden gem if you're in the area. Bonus for daily happy hour from 3 to 7 pm.

Hip and classy. They've got a great happy hour so often the place is brimming with business people that work in El Segundo area. Totally appropriate to come even if you're not of that demographic, it never feels business-y or stuffy. And they have a lot of booths which I love.

The seafood is usually really fresh and the calamari is bomb!! The dishes aren't heavy. The waitstaff is always very friendly and upbeat. Great for dinner and/or drinks.
