Looking to shop local? It isn't every day that one of Venice's cutest patio restaurants flips to a holiday market offering locally made trinkets—in fact, it's just happening on weekends.
The trendy Mexican-food pop-up from the Butcher's Daughter is giving us another outdoor way to shop in December, and yes, you can still get tacos and margaritas to-go. De Buena Planta launched over Labor Day Weekend as a tropical, plant-forward and healthful pop-up restaurant, and for the next few weekends it's turning into a holiday bazaar: Every Saturday and Sunday from December 5 to 20 find local vendors selling pottery, house plants, jewelry and beyond while De Buena Planta offers its veggie-friendly food and fresh-juice margaritas for takeout.
Expect bouquets and other floral designs from Pigsty; crystals, candles, scent diffusers and the like from Tiny Bandit; custom jewelry from Nini Banger; Mexican coffee and espresso from Cafe Lulu and more. Just remember: Masks and social distancing are a must.
