Starting August 19, LA welcomes Threadcrawl—a week-long city-wide sale, pulled together by Angeleno/grassroots fashion lover Joshua Jordison. This is how it works: you score yourself a ticket for $17 online, which guarantees you access to primo discounts, from 15% to 70% off, at retailers all over LA. New Era, Jill Roberts, Civilionaire, Alternative Apparel and Johnny Was are just a few of the participants (see a full list of merchants here). There is no limit to how many times you can use the discounts or how much you can buy; so potentially, there's a boat load of cash to be saved. Two bucks from every ticket sold will be donated to City of Hope, giving you every excuse to whip out that plastic.
