Time Out says

Ever wondered if Spam could do more than satisfy your belly? Canstruction LA brings together architects, designers, builders and engineers to create novel structures out of canned foods. Like the tin of corned beef lying forgotten and alone on your pantry shelf. The goal: to promote community awareness of hunger. The 'canned' structures will be showcased at the Farmer and Merchants Bank as well as during this month’s Downtown LA Art Walk. All cans from the competition will be donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Voting is public and the exhibition is free, so make a trip down for a good cause and watch creatives in their element.
