East LA has been overrun by man-eating giants, pushing back the survivors into the uncertain safety of a walled stadium. Your task: Find a way to stop the invasion and save humanity, all within an hour.
At least, that's the premise of this latest installment of Real Escape Game, a Japanese live puzzle game. You won't encounter any actual insatiable giants, but you can certainly imagine that they're bounding around Weingart Stadium at East LA College (1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez). Fans of the Japanese anime Attack on Titan will find the concept familiar, and cosplay is encouraged. The entire event lasts about an hour and a half, and though there's no team limit, players are encouraged to form teams of three to six people.
