Join LA's resident non-profit literary press, Red Hen, at the Annenberg Community Beach House for a free evening of music and poetry. Father-son duo John and Nathan Barr will present their respective crafts: Poetry-dad John has been publishing collections since the late '80s and will read from his newest, The Adventures of Ibn Opcit. Nathan inherited his father's flair for composition, and went on to score the music for all four season's of HBO's True Blood, in addition to a slew of films. Transatlantic poet Cecilia Woloch will also read from her fifth collection, Carpathia.
