New York Burger serves one of the best burgers in Madrid. And at his Miguel Ángel location, Pablo Colmenares (who spent some time at Le Cordon Bleu in London and three years at DiverXO), the founder's son, takes your taste buds on a trip to Texas with a select woody and smokey flavour. From his gastro road trips through the USA, Colmenares has created a menu that'll have meat lovers drooling for days after devouring one of his burgers. Black Angus Brisket, smoked for 12 hours on American walnut wood, beef ribs with barbecue or bourbon sauce, pulled pork tacos ... Even the Parmigiano salad has meat in it: a juicy piece of grilled chicken. They really know what they're doing here, and all the dishes are impeccable. To balance out such hearty dishes, they also offer some light detox juices, with a base of fresh red berries, or lime, or ginger, and more. And if you still want to appease your conscience after the meat fest, you can try to skip the cheesecake, carrot cake and Oreo chocolate cake, and opt for the seasonal fruit.
