Time In: Why we’ve changed our logo – for now

Time Out is now Time In temporarily while we in Madrid do more staying in than going out

We were born to tell you to get out, to recommend the best restaurants, bars, theatre performances, art exhibitions, concerts and things to do in our city, to cultivate social interaction, contact, life in the streets and squares. So much so that we tell you where to go (out) right there in our name: Time Out. And suddenly, everything’s changed. Suddenly we’ve all got to stay home.

We've changed our logo temporarily to acknowledge this new reality, but rest assured: Time Out Madrid will continue to help you discover the best of the city, whether it's Time Out or Time In.

To all of you who are having to close your businesses for now, we want you to know that we’re with you just as we’ve always been. You make our city better with your bars, restaurants, theatres, concert venues, cinemas, shops, galleries, museums... Let there be no doubt that the day you reopen we’ll be the first to let everyone know and get madrileños back out there. We’ll get Madrid moving again together.

So for now we’re Time In. We’ll make a digital version of the paper magazine (available monthly, in Spanish) and we’ll keep our website updated as always, letting you know which events have been cancelled or postponed, which venues are temporarily closed, and giving you ideas for the best things to do in Madrid when the time is right once again.

Events are changing fast. Read the latest Coronavirus advice.
