The winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Play, All the Way takes us to November, 1963. An assassin’s bullet has just catapulted Lyndon Baines Johnson into the presidency. A man with towering ambition and appetite, LBJ finds himself embroiled in passing the Civil Rights Act as he campaigns for re-election and searches for the recognition he so desperately wants.

Exploring themes of individual identity, moral decision making, multiple perspectives, and civic engagement, All the Way gives us insight into this historic struggle for freedom and democracy in the 1960s, how far we have come, and how much more we still need to do to create a more perfect union.

This play contains language and adult themes which may not be suitable for all audiences.
