Indie Memphis says
Selected Canadian films will be screened every Wednesday evening in May at Studio on the Square, in conjunction with the Canadian Film Institute in Ottawa, Memphis In May's International Salute to Canada, & Indie Memphis.

STORIES WE TELL - The third film in our Canadian film series is Sarah Polley's documentary that explores the director's own family's secrets—including one intimately related to Polley's own identity. A film that excavates layers of myth and memory to find the elusive truth at the core of a family of storytellers. Winner of dozens of Best Documentary awards by festivals and critic associations.

"Riveting. A deeply personal piece of art." - Los Angeles Times
"Genius! I will never forget 'Stories We Tell." - Vanity Fair

Wednesday, May 18th at 7pm.
Tickets are $10. $8 for members and seniors.

Sarah Fleming, Lara Johnson, Sara Kaye Larson, & Joann Self Selvidge of Film Fatales, a collective of Memphis-based female filmmakers, will host a Q&A conversation immediately following the screening.
