The event creator says
The preservation of one of Memphis' oldest and most beautiful parks is important to many of the city's citizens. This ALL AGES fundraiser, hosted by the Hi-Tone on Easter Sunday and involving some amazing Memphis bands, is happening to help raise funds to preserve the greensward and other parts of the park.

A $10 donation at the door allows you to hear six hours of local music while supporting a great cause. Half of the money will go to the Overton Park Conservancy Legal Fund and half of it to the Get Off Our Lawn initiative. Nobody should be allowed to park on the greensward we love so much. The preservation of the park is important to our city and its people.

Music will run from 2 to 8pm on the big stage, and there will be art and food vendors all day. The line-up is listed below:

*Tony Manard 2:00-2:25
*Faux Killas 2:35-3:00
*Southern Avenue 3:10-3:35
