Time Out says
Goodness gracious great gobs of Guitarts Gone Wild will be on display at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center beginning March 7 through May 1.
Nancy is an avid dumpster and trash pile diver, and loves to convert her findings into art using a mixture of mediums, subjects and assemblage styles. Apple's "Guitarts" use unwanted, unplayable instruments and children's plastic guitars and often are musically themed.
The show will include approximately 20 pieces by Nancy, most of which will be for sale. Remote purchase and shipping is available.
Nancy Apple is a veteran Memphis musician, artist, DJ at WEVL and Emissary of Memphis Music. She also teaches songwriting at the U of M, eats way too many sweets and has been making her "Guitarts" since the mid 1980s.
And if you want to stay for the concert show after my show - it's going to be a gooooooooood 'n and it looks like tickets are still on sale!!!! http://www.bpacc.org/calendar.aspx?view=list&year=2015&month=3&day=7
